"Five Bryant Park (1065 Sixth Avenue) sits at the prestigious intersection of West 40th Street and Sixth Avenue, across from the southwest corner of Bryant Park. In a public installation that bridges the natural world of Bryant Park, a lush, green oasis in the heart of Manhattan to the stark architecture of Midtown, Matt Mignanelli has created a 7 x 16 foot painting that graces the entry to 5 Bryant Park, and a succession of 5 works continuing through to 41st Street."

Equilibrium

Matt Mignanelli: Equilibrium, a new Virtual Exhibition from Denny Dimin Gallery, highlights the Brooklyn based artist as he completes a public project at Five Bryant Park. The virtual exhibition includes one of his newest paintings and a work on paper.

Watch the accompanying video to join Mignanelli, a team of professional art installers, the curator, and the gallerist as they tackle the installation. Then step back into the artist's East Williamsburg studio as he finishes the large-scale, site-specific works and walks you through his deliberately chosen colors, methods and materials.
